ARTIST TALK ANNOUNCEMENT

I am really looking forward to talking about my project Sorrow at the Ryedale Photography Festival. Details below;

Delighted that Dawn Rodgers @dawn_s_rodgers will be joining Ryedale Film&Photo Festival 2026 in person to deliver an artist's talk about her work Sorrow.

Dawn Rodgers is a visual artist and photographer based in Berkshire, UK. She works with photography, archives, mythology and the ancient landscapes of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Dorset. Her work is centred on the major theme of grief after the sudden loss of her brother in 1993.

Her sold out book Sorrow explores her grief around her brother's death through the landscapes they explored together as children. Her work is held in public and private collections worldwide and has featured in Le Monde and IL Pais, where Sorrow was recognised as a photobook of the year 2024.
